We believe that our main mission field is right here in Muncie Indiana and every person who attends Calvary has the potential to be a missionary each and every day. We also realize that we are called to go into all the world and preach the gospel. With that being said, we operate with a balanced approach to missions. We participate in local efforts as well as foreign missions around the globe.

We participate in fund raisers and support local missions like the Muncie Mission as well as First Choice Crisis Pregnancy Center and the Salvation Army in Muncie. We count it a blessing to have such awesome ministries in our community. We also contribute to many other local charities and ministries throughout the year.

We also realize the importance of meeting the needs within our own church. It has been said that you can give a man a fish and feed him for a day or you can teach him to fish and feed him for a lifetime. We desire to not only meet the immediate needs of individuals, we offer several tools and ministries to help equip people to overcome their obstacles and live a more victorious life.

We also support missionaries throughout the world who are changing lives everyday and adding names to the Book of Life. Many of these missionaries live everyday in danger but because of the call God put on them and the financial and prayer support the churches in the US supply them, they are able to fulfill their calling. So we see it as a team effort and we will all meet people in heaven that we never met here on this earth because we were obedient to the great commission.

Our children are introduced to missions at a young age through BGMC (Boys and Girls Missionary Challenge). The coins they bring in every month go to purchase supplies for children all around the world. One Sunday a month they see videos and stories of what's going on around the world in the lives of boys and girls just like them and how their money is helping.

So we are not a church who is so inwardly focused that we are of no use to those who do not attend Calvary Christian Center. We know what our charge is and we intend to be the vessels God intended us to be in our community.
