Our mission is to: Connect People to People, People to Christ and People to their Purpose and it is no mistake that they are in that order.  We have found that all three of these items can often be accomplished in the same activity. For example when someone is volunteering their time in a ministry or outreach, we are connecting them to Christ, connecting them to other people and connecting them to their purpose all at the same time.

Our most important mission is to ultimately Connect People to Christ first and foremost. Everything we do from our services to the group outings we take are designed with that in mind. Rest assured you will not hear a sermon when we go to a baseball game at Victory Field but the behavior of the group always seems to point towards God.

Another aspect of our mission is to Connect People to People. This is an area that we are committed to as a church. One reason is that we feel that fellowship with others is vital to the spiritual health of the individual. We all have a desire to have a sense of belonging and acceptance from those around us rather we want to admit it or not. Not only do we have opportunities to connect with others through ministry and outreach opportunities, we also schedule group outings from time to time where families can enjoy time together at a baseball game at Victory Field or Christmas at the Indianapolis Zoo or Family Picnics at Morows Meadow in Yorktown. Fellowship is important and is especially critical in the world today.

Finally we want to help people find their giftings and put those gifts to use in ministry. Rather it's teaching a class, singing on the worship team or maintaining the facilities and grounds and a multitude of others, we want everyone to find their purpose and have the opportunity to exercise and develop their gifts by serving. We consider everyone at Calvary a blessing from God and we want to disciple many as are willing.
